A general entertainment channel in Kenya is called NTV. The channel, a redesign of the Nation TV station that had been part of the Nation Media Group since 1999, started broadcasting on April 4, 2005. Along with Citizen TV, Kenya Television Network, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, and other well-known Kenyan broadcasting networks, it is a well-liked TV station in that country.
