Kenyan TV47 is a television network. Owned by Cape Media Limited, a Mount Kenya University affiliate. It was introduced in 2019 and mostly broadcasts in English and Kiswahili. TV47 is a recent addition to Kenya's media landscape. In Kenya, there are more than 50 television stations.  Among these are Citizen TV, operated by Samuel Kamau Macharia's Royal Media Services, Kenya Television Network, run by The Standard (Kenya), NTV (Kenyan TV channel), operated by Nation Media Group, and K24 TV, operated by Media Max Limited.
