Kenyatta University owns Kenyatta University Television (KUTV), a national television station in Kenya. The Kenyatta University Media Group, which also runs the radio station KUFM 99.9 and the smartphone app LOLA, runs the Channel. Swahili and English are also carried on the 24-hour channel. The primary goal of the TV station when it was founded in 2015 was to serve as a training ground for Kenyatta University students majoring in Theater Arts, Film Technology, and Media Studies. The channel has continued to cultivate, develop, and present talents across the globe.
